Self cleaning cell
Every 5 hours the plates in the cell reverse polarity in order to prevent calcium from building up inside the cell. Its automatic self-cleaning feature will save time and money by eliminating accidental damage caused when cleaning the electrodes. You no longer need to go through the tedious process of cleaning electrodes with acid.
Clear cell
You know its working because you can see the chlorine being made.
Built-in Safety
A flow sensor will shut off the unit if there is no flow. The gases produced in the cell are then trapped at the top of the cell so that they cannot travel back to the filter or heater.
Superchlorinate feature
With one touch of a button, this fast and convenient method will automatically boost chlorine levels to compensate for heavy bather load or increases in temperature.
Constant chlorine production
When output is at 50%, most salt systems will produce 100% ouput for a period and then shut down for a period of the same length. The Zodiac Salt System however will actually produce at 50% output for the entire period. When a constant level of chlorine is administered to the pool, water is easier to balance and bacteria cannot flourish.
Performance in changing conditions
If salt levels are too high or low, other salt systems will shut down. Often this goes unnoticed until it is too late and the pool is algae-infested and unsanitary. The Zodiac Salt System however, can continue to produce chlorine at high or low levels of salt, ensuring a safe swimming environment.
Easy installation on almost any pool
A Zodiac Salt System only needs about 8 inches of space on the pipe after the pump, filter and any other equipment.
For use with resin aboveground pools - It is best to contact pool manufacture or dealer to verify that your pool is compatible with a salt system.
